Join Nimbus Dance Works for a special evening of dance at Jersey City’s White Eagle Hall. This co-presentation of Nimbus Dance Works and Jersey City Theater Center features the company in All Star Ball Passing Redux, Charles Moulton’s renowned masterwork; audience favorite Mapping, by UK Choreographer Darshan Singh Bhuller; Nimbus Artistic Director Samuel Pott’s Surface Tension; Plus: Guest Appearance by Internationally-Acclaimed PeiJu Chien-Pott.
Guest performer, PeiJu Chien-Pott, joins Nimbus Dance Works' PROLIFERATE performance and gala April 7th at White Eagle Hall, with Ekstasis, performed most recently at the Joyce Theater to rave reviews. A Principal Guest Artist with the Martha Graham Dance Company and one of the most acclaimed contemporary dancers of her generation, Ms. Chien-Pott performs this mesmerizing and otherworldly tour-de-force solo which was choreographed by Martha Graham in 1933 and re-conceived by Virginie Mécène in 2017.
Performance immediately followed by a Gala Reception with Honoring the Dance To Learn Program, a statewide Creative Movement Program which Nimbus provides for over 350 Jersey City students annually. And Raising Funds for Nimbus’ Dance Prorgams in the Jersey City Schools.
