Zach Biehl (co-director, Granadans) is a dancer, choreographer and visual artist born in Spring, Texas. He received his pre-collegiate training from Revolve Dance Company, whom he would later perform with throughout the Houston metroplex. Zach received his B.F.A. in Dance Performance as well as a B.A. in Creative Computation from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He has had the honor to perform works by choreographers such as Martha Graham, José Limón, Bill T. Jones, Danny Buraczeski, Adam Hougland, Joshua Peugh, Norbert De La Cruz III, Igal Perry, and John Selya. Zach is interested in creating acute emotional environments for the stage as well as less conventional performance spaces via the manipulation of physical, kinetic, and digital material.
Summer Myatt (co-director, Granadans) is a freelance dancer and choreographer currently residing in Brooklyn, New York. She received her BFA in dance performance and minors in arts management and English from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and she is also a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Summer has performed works by Martha Graham, Joost Vrouenraets, Jose Limon, George Balanchine, Joshua L. Peugh, and Adam Hougland among others.
