(Port Au Prince, Haiti) was adopted when he was ten years old and began a new life in Los Angeles. While starting dancing relatively late in life, at eighteen, Mr. Mayo quickly fell in love with the craft. His passion for dance brought him to New York City in 2016, when he was awarded a full scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet School. At Joffrey, Mr. Mayo trained and danced in the Jazz & Contemporary program. While a company member of Joffrey Elite, he appeared on a docu-series on awesomenessTV and performed at the Barclays Center, Dixon Place, McKenna Theatre, Plaza Del Sol Performance Hall, and Salvatore Capezio Theatre. Mr. Mayo joined Nimbus Dance Works as an apprentice in February 2018 and was promoted to the company in September 2018. He is proud to reside in the wonderfully diverse and cultural city of Brooklyn, NY.
